THE ART OF COLORING
Its amazing how colors can make you feel in different spaces and environments. Colors can affect your mood and spirit.
Selecting colors for your brand, events, home, car and items that you use in your everyday life is a representation of who you are. My personal color palette are the colors of the rainbow.
A FEW OF MY FAVES
Yellow is my happy pop color.
Blue is claming. I love being near or surrounded by water. The color blue can be bold. I love this color in my home and fashionable pieces.
Red is my vibrant, sexy, and confident color.
Purple is royal, deep and rich. Love using this color in interiors.
Green, my favorite color and compliments my skin tone. (Honestly, all colors compliment my skin tone because Iām pale.)
Black - Elegant, classy, powerful and makes a statement.
White is very pristine, clean, angelic, classy, soft and welcoming.
A part of my business task requires me to go to the courthouse in different counties. The difference in the color selections for these environments is so interesting to me. It extends from dark, drab, cloudy that automatically gives you a sense of gloom and doom OR light, airy, inviting, pleasant and inviting. Both entities serves the same purpose and services. Yet you feel different in each space.
When selecting colors for your brand can be challenging. There is a science to selecting the color or a combination of colors. Things to consider when selecting colors for your Brand.
BRAND COLORS

EVENTS
When selecting the color scheme for an event. Its important that your palette is cohesive and represents the atmosphere and aesthetic you want your guest to experience. There are no limits or right or wrong colors. Make sure your selections compliments the space and you as the host.
CORPORATE EVENTS
When I design for corporate events I consider their brand colors, products and the purpose of the event. Is this a fundraiser, awards, employee recognition/appreciation, goals and accomplishments, work seminar, education or training.
INTERIORS
Your home is your sanctuary and place of peace. The is the place that your go to let it all go and release. How do you want to feel when you enter this space? What is the first space you enter into when you come home? How do you want to feel? These three questions is what I ask my client when designing interiors.
When making color choices have fun. Play with different color combinations. Visit a hardware store and grab paint color swatches. You can purchase peel and sick samples and color wands to view the colors in different lights in compatibility.
