DESTINATION EXPERIENCE

DWP Congress created a comfortable environment for industry professionals from around the world. If there were any apprehensions, everyone attending were able to release them the moment you arrived. The warmth and gracious welcome upon arrival is exactly what was required after a 15 hour flight. Organization, Professionalism and Quality Service is not a practice, its standard that is executed daily. Guest were greeted at the St. Regis upon arrival with hot tea, fancy chocolates and smiles. The staff were prepared for guest to arrive throughout the day. The fragrance Carolina Herrera grace our presence as we waited for instructions. Gifts were placed delicately in our suites with a guide to follow for each day.

DAY ONE: WELCOME RECEPTION

  • The Waldorf Astoria Alusail hosted DWP in style and elegance. By Dalia Taha created the design for the event extremely well. Dalia is strikingly gorgeous in person. Everyone was adorn with Arabian attire from head to toe. The stage was set for DWP Host Committee to speak, Entertainment and Dancing. The cuisine was delectable. I devoured my first plate and return for seconds later in the evening. We all had a good time. We engaged in conversation, network, danced, laughed and flashing cameras were consistently capturing all the joy of the evening.

DAY TWO: PRESENTATIONS | B2B | Gala

  • The Welcome Party was extended for some but, we all were ready for Day Two at the St. Regis Hotel. The opening of the Congress started with His Excellency Akbar Al Baker, Chairman Qatar Tourism and Group CEO of Qatar Airways. All of the presenters presented valuable information. We received a style guide to prepare our attire accordingly. It was quite refreshing to see everyone dress to impress. The seating, decor and floral design was extraordinary. The precision and alignment of every detail I noted and memorized. No details were spared.

  • The B2B sessions with Destination from around the world were well organized. Discussing events with businesses from around the world was very exciting, inspiring and motivating.

  • The Gala was hosted at the Ritz Carlton. Everyone sparkled in their Black Tie attire. We were entertained from the moment we arrived until departure.

DAY THREE: PRESENTATIONS | B2B | MASTER MIND | PARTY

  • I have to admit after 3 days of being in a different time zone my body was rebelling and in a state of confusion. I awaken later than planned. I quickly dress and presented myself polish and ready.

  • Knowledge was poured into us from all the presenters. Then Nadia Duran approached the stage spoke eloquently on Wellness. Her transparency had most in tears and reflecting on personal self-care /wellness for ourselves. A conversation and testimony I will never forget.

  • B2B meetings went very well. the overall view of delegates and business partners was something to cherish. The Master Mind sessions were informative and covered every aspect of the industry.

  • The Party was hosted by St. Martin Tourism and they did not come to play. This event was held at a venue tuck away inside the St. Regis Hotel. St. Martin knows how to throw a party. The DJ and Band had everyone dancing the entire night. A good time was had by all.

    SUMMARY:

    I have pages of notes on a variety of destinations for events and weddings. This world offers numerous options for producing grand events. Qatar, Dubai or Abu Dhabi has a host of luxurious locations for celebrations and weddings. You will experience the culture, a pristine aesthetic, exceptional quality and attention to detail is to be admired. There’s a gracefulness in the atmosphere.

    I enjoyed myself immensely. Every aspect of this experience was worth the 15 hr flight. LOL The value of attending, PRICELESS!

    An event of this capacity takes a year or more to plan. Hats off to all the partners, vendors and staff whom executed this event.
