I love having guests over at my place! It's like a fun puzzle, making sure everything is just right, so they can kick back and relax. Here's a few tips to make sure your guests feel like royalty:

ROOM READY

• Make sure the guest room is all set up with fresh towels, candles, soaps, and lotion. A little basket with snacks, tea, magazines, and a good book is a sweet touch. And don't forget to give them a quick run-down of the remote control! It can be a tricky little guy.

• Fresh Flowers are a special touch that definitely makes guest feel welcome.

WELCOME CARD

• A little note welcoming them to your home with the WiFi password inside is always a great idea. It's the little things that count!

MAKE A PLAN

• Chat with them about what they want to do during their stay. No need to plan every minute. Sometimes the best memories come from just hanging out together.

DINNING

• Make sure they know what meals you'll be providing, but also let them know they're welcome to whip something up in the kitchen for breakfast or lunch. And don't forget to show them where the snacks and kitchen supplies are kept.

MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME

• Give them a key or access code if you're not going to be around during their stay. It's always nice to have a little extra freedom to come and go as you please.

ENJOY YOUR TIME TOGETHER

Most importantly, treasure your time together! Laugh, talk, share stories, and give plenty of hugs. And don't forget to take a moment to be grateful for all the special people in your life.
